The White Horse Story
Life began as Kine, an independent restaurant on West Parade. In November 2023, we made an exciting change and moved just around the corner.

Originally called White Horse, and later the Tap and Spile, our new building has been renovated to be bright and airy. It's a traditional building with a new personality where we've aimed to take elements of Kine and create a fresh and fun experience for visitors.

The White Horse brand reflects the pairing of old and new coming together. A traditional pub combined with the fun personality of Kine. Traditional colours are paired with fresh brights and vintage furnishings are combined with modern artwork.

The historical style of the White Horse meets the modern liveliness of Kine.
At White Horse, we've created a truly independent relaxed and stylish space, where everyone will be treated as regulars. A place where small plates of seasonal food are constantly served along with carefully chosen craft beer and organic wines.

We've created different spaces within White Horse for you to enjoy. The Orangery is light and perfect for a lazy brunch, The Snug is intimate and comforting, great for a pint and a read of a good book and The Gallery is our events and party space.

It's a place where you can enjoy brunch, lunch, evening meals, drinks, a group birthday or a coffee and emails, its a welcoming and happy place.
